Hunter Montgomery ’17

Hunter Montgomery ‘17 is a genetics major with a business administration minor from Round Rock, Texas. He is the son of Tammy and Mike Montgomery.

Hunter is a member of B-Battery in the Aggie Band and plays trombone.

During his junior year, Hunter was the Artillery Band Scholastics Sergeant. This year he is a Platoon Leader and Public Relations Officer for B-Battery. Hunter is also a member of the O.R. Simpson Honor Society and served as Executive Officer his Junior year. This year he is the Commander of the Honor Society.

Off the Quad, Hunter was a Fish Camp Counselor and a member of Sophomores Advancing in Leadership (SAIL). Hunter participated in a Marketing Study Abroad to Europe with Mays Business School during the summer of 2016. He visited a total of seven different countries—England, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco, and Germany.

Hunter plans to attend Medical School and specialize in anesthesiology after he graduates. He is already working towards his career goal, and is a Certified Nurse Assistant, CPR certified, Phlebotomist certified, Pharmacy Technician Certified, and First Aid Certified. Hunter is also a research assistant for Dr. Watanabe, who is studying and conducting advances in cancer research. Hunter is a cadet who is goal oriented, and driven to succeed. He is a valued representative of the Corps of Cadets. Best of luck, Hunter!
