The Officers of the Day for a home football game, the Seniors from Squadron 16

"Beat the hell outta' t.u.!"

Every cadet looks forward to waking up on a cool, fall morning when the Aggie Football Team is playing at home! During home football weekends, cadets are given the opportunity to represent Texas A&M in an official capacity. The entire Corps marches into Kyle Field in front of thousands of fans before the beginning of the game. Each unit is led into the stadium by its commanding officer.

"Officers of the Day"

A select group of senior cadets are chosen as "Officers of the Day" for each home and away football game. Seniors from outfits across the Corps get the privledge to serve as "ODs" by raising money for the Corps' annual March to the Brazos fundraiser. These cadets represent the Corps by standing proudly on the sidelines in uniform complete with boots and sabers. The Officers of the Day are responsible for protecting the field, especially while the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band is performing during halftime. The picture at the top of the page shows Squadron 16 seniors serving as the Officers of the Day.
